Developed on the banks of the Hillsborough River in the early 1920s, Temple Terrace is one of only 3 incorporated cities in Hillsborough County (the smallest, Plant City and Tampa being the others).
Today, it serves as a wonderful bedroom community of Tampa. It’s residents love the close proximity to USF and North Tampa’s medical community, as well as easy access to I-75, I-4, and I-275.
You’ll find a wonderful variety of homes throughout Temple Terrace, the most lovely of which line the streets and golf course that runs along the banks of the Hillsborough River. Florida College is one of Temple Terrace’s notable residents. This small Christian school with majors in Business and Education has been attracting students from all over the world to be educated by values-based professors since 1953.
